Trophie Music Holiday Songwriting Workshop
For kids aged 8 to 12, this two day songwriting workshop is a fun way to dive into music these summer school holidays.
Students will bring their musical ideas to life in an immersive workshop held at Kirrawee Library. Led by former Universal Music artist Sophie Hanlon, the program is designed for all levels, from beginners through to confident young musicians.
Kids will get to:
• Learn about song structure
• Understand and practice lyric writing
• Explore popular chord progressions
• Develop melody writing skills
• Use industry standard music software and tools
• Collaborate with other kids in creative songwriting tasks
• Take home their own recorded track
It is a great chance to get creative, learn from a professional and work alongside other young music lovers.
