Westfield Miranda is lighting up winter evenings with the return of its Festival of Lights, featuring ocean-inspired illuminations, free family activities, roaming performers and special dining offers.
Running from Thursday to Sunday evenings until 9 August, the festival transforms the centre’s rooftop and Kingsway dining precincts with colourful light displays and plenty to keep the kids entertained.
From Thursday to Saturday, families can enjoy free craft workshops, fairy floss, glow-in-the-dark face painting and a scavenger hunt where Westfield members can collect a light-up pirate hat or glowing mermaid braid, while stocks last. Craft workshop bookings are recommended, with walk-ins accepted when space allows.
There will also be roaming LED turtles, seahorses, hula hoop performers and disco ball dancers appearing across Levels 2 and 3 near the Kingsway restaurants and the Level 4 rooftop dining precinct.
Sunday visitors can stop by for glow-in-the-dark face painting from 12pm to 3pm before returning later to see the illuminations.
Make an evening of it with dinner at one of Westfield Miranda’s restaurants and a walk through the lights afterwards.
