There’s something beautifully fierce about the way women move through life. From sleepless nights and career pivots to the everyday juggle of motherhood and everything in between, women show up. But in all that giving, it’s easy to lose sight of your own strength.
Epoch Pilates is here to change that.
Nestled inside Alasana Yoga in Gymea, this brand-new studio in the Sutherland Shire was founded by local mum Bianka Josevska, a woman who knows what it’s like to crave more than just a workout. “I created Epoch as a sanctuary for women to reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their inner power,” says Bianka.
Whether you’re stepping into your first Pilates class or returning to movement after having kids, Epoch’s vibe is welcoming, uplifting and real. Their signature Strength Pilates class is a 45-minute full-body session designed to build strength, move mindfully and leave you feeling more like you. Classes are layered and adaptable, so you can move at your own pace and challenge yourself when it feels right.
For new mums, Mums and Bubs Pilates is a gentle and nurturing way to rebuild strength with your baby in tow (up to 6 months old). These 45-minute classes are all about connection, calm and carving out a moment for yourself. “No pressure, no expectations. Just baby snuggles, supportive vibes and movement that meets you exactly where you are,” says Bianka.

What makes Epoch different is its philosophy. This isn’t a studio that expects you to snap back or keep up. It’s a space built for real women in real seasons of life. Classes are pregnancy-safe, inclusive and led by accredited instructors who deeply understand the female body and how it shifts, grows and evolves.
“At Epoch, movement is more than exercise. It’s a way to reset, to reclaim, to rise,” says Bianka. “It’s your moment of stillness in the chaos and a reminder that your strength was never lost. It was just waiting to be reawakened.”
To celebrate their opening, Epoch Pilates is offering one month of unlimited classes for $130. It’s the perfect way to explore what feels good for your body and your schedule.
You’re also invited to a free open day class on Sunday 17 August. Come and check out the studio, meet Bianka and the team, and see if it feels like your kind of space.

Because sometimes, all it takes is 45 minutes and a quiet room to remember how strong you really are.
