Become a Mum and you’ll be seeing the inside of a medical practice more than you ever have before. From vaccinations, developmental check-ups, and those incidental accidents that toddlers love to have, you may find your child’s doctor becomes your new best friend overnight!
And that’s why it’s important to find a doctor you feel comfortable with, can get access to, and trust.
Not only for your family’s medical needs, but also for yours. Because with a growing trend of mums overlooking their own health and wellbeing to prioritise that of their families, it’s essential we have the right medical partnerships in place to help us address that imbalance.
Female health is complex and requires dedicated and knowledgeable doctors to help guide patients through the changes that happen to our bodies, once we enter motherhood.
Woolooware Family Medical Practice (WFMP) is a new, family-friendly general practice, sister practice to the ever-popular Kirrawee Family Medical Practice with whom it shares the same team, values and culture.
Providing exceptional care is paramount to WFMP and its team, who are specialists in looking after the health and wellbeing of you and your family. The team focuses on evidence-based, preventative care because as we all know, prevention is better than cure!
Even better, WFMP is run and owned by Shire mums, who understand how important it is to have a regular doctor who can get to know you and your family.
One of WFMP’s newest recruits is mum of three Dr Greta Sears who works four days a week at the practice. With a specialism in Women’s Health, Antenatal Care, Paediatric and Adolescent Health, Contraception and Fertility, she would be a great partner no matter where you are on your parenthood journey. Dr Greta is also certified to insert and remove contraceptive devices and hormonal implants.
All doctors at WFMP are highly experienced specialists in family medicine, passionate about providing quality care to individuals and families within the local community and surrounding suburbs.
So if you’re in need of a new doctor who will genuinely care about you and your family’s medical needs, why not get in touch with WFMP?
You can reach them online or on (02) 8513 4499.
