Two savvy Sutherland Shire-based mums and Paediatric Occupational Therapists got together and created the most amazing alternative to makeshift cubbies, which still allows your kids to capitalise on the many benefits of building, creating and playing in an indoor cubby.
Amy and Tara observed that their kids craved movement. As a result, lounge cushions would be pulled apart to be jumped on, rolled on, carried from room to room and anything else but for sitting on!
They saw how their home decor had to completely change when the kids started to really move and explore. Drawing on their decades of experience working with families to improve children’s development and skills, Amy and Tara designed the Cubbi Buddi.
While it may look simple and fun, they describe it as “sneakily very purposeful.”
The completely Australian-made play lounge is “designed for kids and gives little ones a way to play, explore, learn and develop while also packing away in a cinch AND compliments any room in your home”, says Co-founder Tara. It is manufactured right here in Sydney where the founders are involved in every step of the process.
