Virginia adopts a holistic approach to fertility, pregnancy and postpartum using a variety of modalities, depending on your needs. This can include bodywork-based therapies like Mizan Therapy (abdominal/womb massage), Yoni steaming, and Birth Healing, and/or clinical therapies like Naturopathy (herbal medicine, nutrition and flower essences).

For increasing fertility, Mizan Therapy brings balance to the reproductive organs, increasing circulation of rich oxygenated blood, lymph and qi, to the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes, which helps to promote hormonal balance, improve egg health, cleanse the body of any toxic build up from a congested circulatory system, helps to break down scar tissue, aids the digestive system to be more efficient, and helps women to connect with their wombspace - perfect for those trying to conceive, and for relaxation during pregnancy. For pregnancy, Virginia’s Holistic Pregnancy Bodywork is both relaxing and beneficial for both mother and baby, and unlike regular pregnancy massage which focuses primarily on the back, arms, and legs, it specifically targets the pelvis, sacrum and belly surrounding the baby – working both externally and if warranted, via Internal Pelvic Floor Release. By releasing tension, it brings back balance to the pelvic bones, ligaments and muscles to reduce pain, and can assist with helping baby into an optimal position. All of this ensures you are more than ready to birth your baby! And if you are experiencing pelvic issues or pain after birth, this treatment is also highly beneficial.
