Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk (or your preferred milk/milk alternative)
  • 1 very ripe mashed banana
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 tbs hemp seeds

Instructions

The ultimate way to use up leftover oats! Or, if you’re like me and deliberately make too much so you have tomorrow’s brekky sorted, this is a fun alternative way to serve.

  1. Leftover oats
*best after left in the fridge for 24 hours & the mixture has firmed up.
  2. Scoop approx 1 tbs of your oats mixture and shape into little bickies
  3. Add seasonal fruit - here, i’m using raspberries and banana’s, you can try blueberries, mango, strawbs, apple, pear - whatever you have available!
  4. Place on a tray lined with baking paper - I like to use pizza trays as a hack to get nicely browned bottoms.
  5. Bake on 180 fan forced for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Viola - a new way to serve oats, perfect for breakfast fun or snacks on the go.

Notes

Throw everything in a pot and cook on the stove over medium-high heat until oats are cooked - usually around 5-10 minutes. This will make enough for your fam + leftovers so you can make these little bickies too. Yum!
