Bounce, leap, jump, tumble, roll and reach for the sky. Why should big kids have all the fun? The Little Leapers program at Sky Zone Miranda is specially designed so kids under five years old can learn to jump at their own pace, without being overwhelmed by the masses. From 10am – 1pm EVERY weekday, the state-of-the-art trampoline park is transformed into a bouncing paradise for pre-schoolers.
Qualified Sky Guards are on hand to provide guided group activities, plus there are games and a soft play area dedicated to toddlers, filled with tunnels, tents and toys. Kids are separated by size on the trampolines to limit any mishaps and ensure everyone can jump til their heart’s content. All this means parents don’t need to be too hands-on; they can sit back and relax with a delicious barista-made coffee from the on-site café.
Alicia Blayney looks after marketing for Sky Zone Miranda and lives in the Sutherland Shire with her family. She has two children aged 4 and 7. She said: “We want local mums to know that Sky Zone is a totally safe environment for little ones; as long as your child can walk, they can jump.”
She continued: “This is something that can easily be added to your week, as it’s such a great way to get toddlers active and develop their gross motor skills. My eldest is a rambunctious boy, and I found when he was younger it was the only thing that would wear him out and get him ready for an afternoon nap, or at least make bedtime a breeze!”
Little Leapers sessions are $10 per child (if it’s your first time you’ll also need to purchase a pair of special grip socks for $2). The program is run on a pay-as-you-play, drop-in basis so there’s no commitment to term fees. Pick up a loyalty card on your first visit and you’ll get a free visit on every fifth session.
PLEASE NOTE: Little Leapers sessions are only available during school terms and are not valid on school holidays.
