Getting kids involved in structured activities outside school and pre-school teach them vital skills for life. Following instructions, working within a group, practising hard to achieve their goals and strengthening their bodies are just some of the skills that kids develop through participation in extracurricular activities.
Getting involved in activities outside pre-school and school also gives kids something more voluntary to pursue and turn into a passion because they enjoy it, rather than because it has been prescribed by a curriculum.
