Have you tried a take-home cocktail? Here’s where to get them in the Shire before they’re gone.

As much as we might love going out to dinner, sometimes (especially on cold grey days) it can be easier and just as much fun to have a friend over and enjoy a drink in your pyjamas. Or maybe you’ve got a baby or young kids in the next room sleeping and no one to babysit but you’d really like to enjoy a nice mixed drink (or two, or three…) with your partner.

Well, one silver lining that you may’ve noticed, which has come from lockdown and tight COVID restrictions, has been the arrival of a list of fancy-schmancy places who are now delivering fresh-made cocktails to your door, at a fraction of the cost you’d pay to drink them in their establishments.

We don’t know whether they’ll continue to offer take-home cocktails as a service once normal business resumes, so if you want them, you better get in fast!
