At Sporties @ Kareela Golf, you can enjoy a genuine paddock-to-plate dining experience at The Cove Bar and Grill, while the kids have free-range of the club’s newly-refurbished farm-themed kids’ club – Down By The River.
The kids’ club is suitable for kids aged between 3 – 12 years old with its rustic theme, chook-pen play area, heaps of toys, plus iPads for the older kids. Down By The River is fully supervised and available every night of the week, and during lunch on weekends.
Melinda Mcilwaine, Sporties Group Marketing Manager said: “We want ‘The Golfie’ to be a first-choice destination for discerning diners and their kids. Somewhere families can linger for a little longer, relax and enjoy the entire experience.”
She continued: “The Cove Bar and Grill offers more than your typical club food; inspired by the proprietor’s family farm in Kulnara, with its own citrus trees and livestock. Our signature dishes include, Saganaki Prawns in a rich Napolitana sauce and Asian-style glazed beef short rib. And, if you’re after something a bit special, you can’t go past our seafood board for two.”
And, there’s more if you’re planning to visit on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the kids will eat for FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. Plus, there are special meals deals on most evenings*.
During the daytime Monday to Friday, the Down By The River kids’ club area also offers a Playgroup from 10am – 12noon, for just $8 per child for two hours of play.
