Watching from home

If an early start is feeling a bit ambitious this year, ABC will again broadcast ANZAC Day coverage live, including the Sydney Dawn Service, making it easy to tune in from home.

A few practical notes

The bigger services, especially Cronulla, Sutherland, Caringbah and Menai, are likely to draw strong crowds, so it is worth arriving early if you are planning to attend.

If you are heading to a club, pub or RSL afterwards, it is also a good idea to check directly with the venue before you leave, just in case any timings change closer to the day.

Above all, while there is plenty on across the Shire, the heart of ANZAC Day remains remembrance. Whether you attend a dawn service, stop in for breakfast afterwards, or meet up later in the day, there are lots of ways to mark it locally this year.
