Franklin Road is led by a highly experienced Director with 23 years' experience. Our team brings a diverse range of talents and skills to our service. Among our team are Educators highly skilled in emotional and social wellbeing, sustainability practices & education, and artistic talents which provide the children with incredible art experiences.

Franklin Road is recognised as a centre of high standards - it has been independently assessed as 'Exceeding' the industry's National Quality Standards by the childcare industry's governing body.

We enjoy many excursions to local destinations including the primary school, post office, shops and train station to commence an excursion via train travel. Excursions are an important part of the holistic learning program offered at Franklin Road. Each year the children attend local NAIDOC celebrations too. We also venture further afield to broaden our learning experiences, with excursions to the Sydney Aquarium and Symbio.

We also enjoy a strong connection with our neighbour Woolooware Public School, visiting the school to view and participate in classrooms, the playground and library. Visits are held with groups of children from our preschool room. We are also fortunate to have primary school children visit us at Franklin Road to talk about school life with the children.

Families enjoy regular insights into their children's learning via a safe and secure communication app called Educa. Educa allows families to view and share learning stories, photos and videos, and collaborate with Educators about their child’s development, from the comfort of their phone.

Parents visiting our service for the first time are always in awe of our abundance of outdoor space. It is well-shaded and picturesque, featuring a large outdoor climbing structure complete with rock climbing, slide, large sandpit, vegetable garden and nature walkways.

Our centre opens from 7am-6.15pm, 51 weeks of the year.

We provide an eco-friendly cloth nappy service to babies and toddlers, at no additional cost to parents.

All meals are supplied at our centre and are prepared fresh daily by our onsite cook.
