Antenatal Classes – One Mama Midwife
One Mama Midwife Antenatal Classes have been designed by Endorsed Midwife and Mum of four, Lauren Brenton - and they are private health fund rebate approved!!
These classes cover everything from what is labour, trying to get yourself into labour, the stages of labour, when to call the hospital in labour, how to cope in early labour, how to cope in each stage of labour, labour and birth positions, induction of labour, caesarean sections, what happens after birth, what to expect in the postpartum period, baby care, nappies, bathing, swaddling, breastfeeding and what to expect in the first week.
Forget traditional awkward classes where you fall asleep sitting at a desk for 6 hours!!! These classes are interactive, fun, light hearted and will empower you for your upcoming labour and birth. These classes are unique as they are run by a highly experienced Midwife who has current practice in the Labour Ward - so you know the information is accurate, practical and evidence based!! Plus, you'll get all the exclusive Midwife and Mum tips along the way of what ACTUALLY works!!
They run for 6 hours and are located in beautiful, light studios in both Cronulla and Sutherland. You will receive a deliciously catered lunch, with drinks, snacks and a GOODIE BAG filled with so many freebies and exclusive discounts!!
