Music for Wellbeing
Music for Wellbeing services includes Music Therapy sessions, singing lessons, and piano lessons. Sessions/lessons are provided by Registered Music Therapist (Reg.no.748) and highly experienced singing teacher and piano teacher, Rebecca Reyna. Details of these services include:
Singing lessons teach proper vocal technique, such as diaphragm breathing, forward placement, and soft palette, and then the application of this technique into the singing of songs.
Piano lessons involve the learning of scales, chords, piano theory, and piano songs.
Music Therapy is the planned and creative use of music to attain, maintain and progress the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of all people. Music Therapy is beneficial for all people of all ages. In particular, music therapy is beneficial for those who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, or difficulties in coping with life. Music Therapy can also be highly beneficial for people who have conditions such as autism and learning disabilities. In these cases, sessions are covered under NDIS for NDIS participants.
