Saver Plus is a free ten month program that provides financial education and matches your savings up to $500 for excursions. At the end you will have saved up to $500 and be matched $500 for a total now of $1,000, a great head start for paying for a learning computer etc.
To be eligible to participate in Saver Plus you must:
• be 18 years or over;
• be a parent or guardian of a student attending school, or be attending school or returning to vocational training yourself;
• have a current Health Care card or Pensioner Concession card;
• be in receipt of an eligible Commonwealth Social Security benefit, allowance or payment.
• have some form of regular income from work (you or your partner) OR receive child support.
