Study without Stress Course - Thursday 24th April 2025 9:00am- 4:00pm Cost $200

This course is aimed at senior students who want to succeed and reach their potential. It covers how to deal with feeling overwhelmed, exam anxiety, study stress and how to manage the work and life balances of a student. These skills are invaluable for Year 10 and will set them up with a good foundation as they approach Year 11 and 12 studies.

The course provides a toolkit of structured practices and psychological techniques (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness) to help you clear your head, get in control of your study program and deal with those unhelpful thoughts.

The 6-week program covers:

1. Psychoeducation on stress and goal setting

2. Situations-Thoughts-Actions, Timetabling, Study/ Life Balance

3. Relaxation, Thought Challenge Part 1

4. Thought Challenge Part 2, Procrastination and Perfectionism Part 1

5. Procrastination and Perfectionism Part 2, Problem Solving, Preparing for Exams

6. Skill review and relapse prevention.
